The Guild of Essential Oil Therapists for Animals (GEOTA) is the self-regulatory, Governing body in Essential Oil Therapy for Animals.  GEOTA was set up to meet the overwhelming demand for people wishing to learn more about the use of essential oils and hydrosols with animals.   

GEOTA is responsible for:

• Producing the quarterly GEOTA Journal.
• Organising the GEOTA Congress
• Membership and ongoing support
• Group forums
• Monitoring and developing the annual CPD (Continuing Professional Development)
• Continuing to research and develop to maintain professional standards.

Anyone can join GEOTA and receive the quarterly Journal, just contact the office for a membership application form or subscribe online.

GEOTA has put together a database to record any suspected adverse reactions to the use of Essential Oils on animals.  If you know of any suspected case please contact us giving full details.
